The two Endeavor-owned talent agencies will run a two-month programme starting July, offering students close mentoring as they develop a new creative project to add to their their portfolios, which can range from a new fashion label to sustainability or tech innovation. Applications are open to all graduate and undergraduate students, with a panel selecting five finalists to participate.
Executives from both companies will also judge LCF’s annual Student Enterprise Challenge, where students pitch business plans with a positive environmental and social impact, and host webinars to provide insight and career advice on topics such as branding, styling and image-making.
IMG and The Wall Group are the latest companies in the industry to launch higher education initiatives. In April, Chanel partnered with the University of Cambridge to create a sustainability leadership programme for its employees, and LVMH launched a new five-year programme with Central Saint Martins to promote climate-friendly luxury design.
