LONDON, United Kingdom — Today, The Business of Fashion and i-D are delighted to unveil 'Fashion At Work,' a short film directed by Aaron Rose, featuring members of the BoF 500 — the most influential and authoritative list in the global fashion industry — including Alexa Chung, Binx Walton, Carine Roitfeld, Charlotte Tilbury, Derek Blasberg, Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, Katie Grand, Nicola Formichetti, Suzy Menkes, Susanna Lau, Tim Blanks, Virginie Mouzat and others.
The film conjurs up an imaginary office, where the good and the great of the fashion industry work together, forming a picture of the beautifully eccentric (and slightly dysfunctional) fashion world, a $1 trillion industry animated by the ideas, emotions and actions of a core community of passionate and influential global insiders, from daring creatives like Edward Enninful to business titans like Renzo Rosso.
In the film, Susie Bubble is shooting Binx, Alexa is after vox pops, Renzo Rosso is refuelling on espresso and Derek Blasberg is putting in a call to Charlotte Tilbury. It’s just another day at the office.
In the coming weeks, watch the stars of ‘Fashion At Work’ discuss what it takes to be successful in the fashion industry in a series of 15 intimate one-on-one interviews to be released each day on BoF and i-D.
From analysis of the global fashion and beauty industries to career and personal advice, BoF’s founder and CEO, Imran Amed, will be answering your questions on Sunday, February 18, 2024 during London Fashion Week.
The State of Fashion 2024 breaks down the 10 themes that will define the industry in the year ahead.
Imran Amed reviews the most important fashion stories of the year and shares his predictions on what this means for the industry in 2024.
After three days of inspiring talks, guests closed out BoF’s gathering for big thinkers with a black tie gala followed by an intimate performance from Rita Ora — guest starring Billy Porter.
