On Tuesday, the Council of Fashion Designers of America released the preliminary schedule for New York Fashion Week, which is set to run from Feb. 9 to Feb. 14. To kick off the Autumn/Winter 2024 season, Peter Do will show his second collection for Helmut Lang on Feb. 9. After sitting out last season, CFDA chairman Thom Browne returns to New York this season, and will close the week on Feb. 14.

The preliminary schedule features around 70 brands, including mainstays Altuzarra, Anna Sui, Area, Carolina Herrera, Michael Kors, Gabriela Hearst (presenting her first collection following her departure from Chloé in September 2023) Eckhaus Latta, LaQuan Smith, Luar, Proenza Schouler, Tory Burch and 2023 CFDA designers of the year in both womenswear, Khaite, and menswear, Willy Chavarria.

Notable additions include Ludovic de Saint Sernin, who will show his namesake brand for the first time outside of Paris on Feb. 11. The designer stepped back from his role as creative director of Ann Demeulemeester in May 2023. Christian Cowan, who showed his last collection in Paris is back on the CFDA’s official calendar, as are Monse, Lafayette 148, Libertine and Delpozo.

Melitta Baumeister, 2023 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner, will release her latest collection digitally on Feb. 13, while runners up Diotima (whose designer Rachel Scott received the CFDA’s 2023 Emerging Designer of the Year award in November) and Zankov will put on presentations.
